Marposs has acquired French company STIL S.A.S., a specialist in optical measurement instruments.

With over 20 years’ experience, STIL has successfully developed unique chromatic confocal and chromatic white light interferometry technologies for non-contact optical measurement which works on the most demanding industrial and research applications.

The acquisition will expand Marposs’ capabilities in optical measurement, test and inspection and allow for inroads into new industries.

Global growth opportunities as a result of the acquisition are expected, partially due to the Marposs extensive sales and service network around the world. Currently Still exports 60% of its products outside of the European markets.
